Sailing in complete safety

The AIS Class B transponder is an essential equipment for all kind of boats and sailors: from recreational boater to offshore sailing skippers. At the heart of the AIS system, the transponder enables data to be transmitted and received automatically via VHF radio waves. It therefore acts as an interface exchanging information between your boat and other nearby vessels and equipped coastal stations. Thanks to this instrument, your boat becomes visible on the AIS screens of boats around you, even in poor visibility, when sailing at night or in high-traffic areas.

Why install a Class B AIS on your sailboat?

➡️ Be visible: the GuardXP transponder automatically transmits your position, heading and speed.
➡️ Get an overview of your sailing area: by seeing the movements of other boats around you, you can better anticipate the risk of collision.
➡️ Easy to install: compact, discreet and compatible with our NavXP chartplotter and on-board computer, with the option of connecting to your phone via our application.
➡️ Reliable, proven technology: compliant with international standards, using the CS-TDMA protocol for efficient transmission.

A must-have equipment on board – so you can see and be seen, whatever the circumstances!

Our AIS transponders GuardXP and GuardXP+ (with different ranges) have a very high reception sensitivity. The transponder’s WiFi network, through which it broadcasts AIS and GPS data, provides easy access to the device’s configuration and maintenance interface.
